Micah 6:8

He has showed you, O man, what is
good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly
with your God.

Contentment

Contentment is living your life through the fullness of God.

We live in a world of comparison. We always compare up rather than comparing down. It could be something you don't have, like a brand new sports clothes or it could be brand name clothing. We think that if we have more then we will be content. You need to ask yourself when is enough enough? It is okay for us to praise and admire those who have more but, we can not get to the point that we covet what they have, like their job positions or their belongings. Luke 3:14 (all about being content with your salary).

What brings contentment?
God brings contentment! God is infinite and will always be enough. We need to put the fullness of our life into His hands. Give Him all you struggle with, ask Him to fill you up with joy, love, and contentment. When we do this we won't worry. How can you enjoy what you have and be content when you constantly worry about all your material things you own?? We can not worry about what will happen. We have to make the choice to put our choice in God. That choice is our choice alone, no one else can make it for you. Focus on what you have in Him. Contentment comes in Christ. Make the choice.

Philippians 4:4

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Daily Bible Verse

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

The Challenge!

I'm challenging everyone who reads my blog to read your bible every day before you use any technology.

That means ANY technology like your phone, television, computer, ipod, etc. If you don't have a bible I strongly suggest getting one. There are several different translations, personally I like using NIV and NLT (new living translation).
God has given us His word for us to use. He didn't just give it to us to be used as a decoration. We shouldn't sit it on a shelf or throw it on a pile of papers.
